A new digital bank is exploring stablecoins: now it's Chime's turn.

Bloomberg reports the U.S. neobank is looking at adding stablecoin functionality as a new feature inside its app, and honestly, it was only a matter of time.

SoFi, Revolut, and most of the major U.S. bank players are already heading this way. Chime just joined the pack.

What I'm really watching for is the moment when everyday banking customers, the ones using direct deposit and round-up savings, not DeFi wallets, start using stablecoins without even realising it.

That's the bridge being built right now, it's not there yet, but it's getting closer.
