Prosecutors in South Korea are seeking a 15-year prison term for Kakao founder Kim Beom-su on charges of stock manipulation tied to a K-pop agency deal. The Seoul Southern District Prosecutor’s Office also requested a 500 million won fine ($ 360,000).

Kim was arrested last year on claims he tried to influence SM Entertainment’s stock in 2023 to block a takeover by rival Hybe.

🇧🇷 Brazilian FinTechs will have to adopt bank reporting standards. Under the new rule, FinTechs will be obligated to submit the e-Financeira, a set of data files that includes detailed information on customer registration, transactions, balances, investments, and other financial records, used for monitoring and risk assessment purposes.
