Revolut 2.0: Betting On Leadership
Hey Digital Banking Fanatic!
Think leadership changes are just routine?
Not when they're happening at one of the world's biggest digital banks.
Revolut has appointed former Chase UK chief Kuba Fast to lead Revolut Bank UAB, putting him in charge of its licensed EU banking business. Fast helped build Chase UK from launch to millions of customers and will now oversee Revolut's transition to a dual-hub structure across the EEA.
Under the new model, Lithuania will remain Revolut's banking hub for Eastern Europe, while Paris will serve Western Europe. Outgoing CEO Joe Heneghan will oversee the wider European banking business as CEO of Revolut Holdings Europe.
But that's not the only shake-up.
Revolut is also refreshing its leadership in Japan to strengthen governance. Daisuke Arato has been appointed Representative Director and CEO of Revolut Technologies Japan, succeeding Yoko Makiguchi, who will now focus on launching new businesses in the region as Representative Director of another Revolut group company.
Is Revolut's organisational reshuffle really over? I wouldn't bet on it.
See what else is shaping Digital Banking. ๐ See you Monday!
Cheers,
