Revolut Is Going All-In on Proprietary AI

Revolut Is Going All-In on Proprietary AI
Revolut Launches Dedicated AI Research Division

Hey Digital Banking Fanatic!

Is the future of banking built on someone else’s AI?

Revolut doesn’t seem to think so.

The company has launched Revolut Research, a dedicated AI research unit behind PRAGMA, its proprietary model developed together with NVIDIA.

While much of the industry is figuring out how to integrate existing AI models, Revolut is taking a different route: building its own AI around financial data and banking use cases.

And it has plenty of data to work with: 80 million customers across 40+ markets.

Revolut says the early numbers are promising, too. In tests on historical data, PRAGMA improved credit risk accuracy, caught more fraud, and delivered more relevant product recommendations.

If those results translate into the real world, owning the model could become a serious competitive advantage.

Plenty more shaping the future of digital banking today. Let’s get into it. 👇

See you tomorrow!

Cheers,

Marcel
