Revolut Is Thinking Bigger About Its IPO
Hey Digital Banking Fanatic!
Revolut is getting closer to the public markets — and it looks like the question is no longer just when, but where.
CEO Nik Storonsky says the fintech prefers the US for a potential IPO, but is also considering a dual listing in London and New York. With Revolut last valued at $115 billion, the decision could have implications well beyond the company itself.
The interesting part is why the US is attractive: a much deeper pool of institutional investors, fund managers and retail investors. At the same time, Revolut is continuing to build its US presence ahead of a potential listing.
And while Revolut is preparing for its next stage of growth, traditional banks are dealing with a very different challenge: modernizing the infrastructure underneath them. AI could play a role here too, helping banks uncover the undocumented logic buried inside legacy core systems before migration even begins.
That’s the focus of AI & Core Banking: Making Legacy Systems Less of a Black Box, where Ove Kreison of Tuum looks at how better visibility can reduce surprises, rework and migration risk.
