Temenos Core Powers Raiffeisen Bank in Bosnia-Herzegovina

Hey Digital Banking Fanatic!
Heading to the Balkans, Raiffeisen Bank dd Bosnia-Herzegovina has gone live with Temenos Core, turning a new page in its digital transformation journey. With this launch, the bank brings its retail operations in line with several other Raiffeisen subsidiaries across Central & Eastern Europe already running on the same core platform.
Serving nearly 500,000 customers, the Bosnian arm is the second-largest bank in the country and a key part of the Vienna-based Raiffeisen Bank International Group. By adopting Temenos Core, the bank steps further into a regional strategy focused on simplifying processes, improving time-to-market, and ensuring a more seamless customer experience across every touchpoint.
Temenos Core is the digital engine behind more than 950 banks worldwide. Its modular design allows financial institutions to modernize at their own pace, without the need for full system overhauls. The platform supports critical banking functions, from payments to compliance, with real-time analytics, automation, and omnichannel access.
Deployed on Red Hat’s OpenShift hybrid cloud, the solution is built to scale, supporting Raiffeisen’s long-term ambitions while keeping pace with changing customer expectations. The upgrade also strengthens the group’s efforts to unify core operations across markets like Kosovo, Slovakia, and Poland.
“This go-live with Temenos is an important part of Raiffeisen’s mission to transform continuous innovation into a superior customer experience,” said Kreshnik Halili, Board Member for Operations and IT at Raiffeisen Bank dd Bosnia-Herzegovina. “Temenos’ modern, integrated core banking solution, which has already proven its worth in other parts of the RBI group, will give us increased efficiency and flexibility for our operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina.”
