Zerohash Is Taking Another Shot at a U.S. Trust Bank Charter
Hey Digital Banking Fanatic!
Zerohash is back at the OCC after its first attempt at a U.S. trust bank charter was returned last month.
This time, the crypto infrastructure firm is taking a narrower approach, focusing on a more limited set of national trust activities. That’s notable given the company already works with names like Morgan Stanley’s E*Trade, BlackRock, Stripe and Franklin Templeton.
The application is now open for public comment, with the deadline set for September 17. If approved, it could give Zerohash another path to bring crypto infrastructure deeper into the regulated banking system.
On the growth side, AppsFlyer looks at how fintechs can connect marketing, product, data, and why retention and LTV matter just as much as keeping CAC low.
Let’s get into today’s Digital Banking stories. 👇 See you tomorrow!
Cheers,
